Nordisc was founded by me, Jørn Idar, a family man with an extra heart for disc golf. To me disc golf is a search for a perfect flight, where the disc flyes just where I want it. And in that search I find enthusiasm, meditation, competition, practice, social life, dedication, my break and so much more.

Nordisc is meant to grow the sport and spread disc golf to as much people as possible, a sport that welcomes all ages, genders and background. Its a sport that is including AND is free to play.

In 2019 we started to bring disc golf and disc sport to schools, after being one of the most active event hosts in the country. The future is exciting, and we hope that Nordisc can be a small part of growing the sport in the years to come.
